A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It goes without saying that the pay out schedule can range from game to game, so that knowledgeable players are agile enough to choose the most profitable game each time.
Once the initial round has finished, the player can either decide to remain on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Further, several styles of the game give the bettor a chance to double their winnings, in which instance another round is played.
